October 2020
Since we paused new applications to our Funds in the UK in April, we have been working hard focusing our effort and resource to ensure our grantees and the communities they work with can survive the impact of the pandemic.
We created a £20 million Emergency Fund, in addition to the £30 million already allocated to our grant-making programmes for 2020/2021. We have made over 350 grants totalling £11 million to date. We are prioritising organisations we have an existing funding relationship with and others where we know our support can make an important and immediate difference. Details of these are published on the 360Giving Covid-19 grants tracker at regular intervals.
We are reopening our UK Funds on Friday 30 October, with some changes to our criteria and processes which reflect what has worked well over the last few months: more flexibility and better responsiveness to applicants. Find out more.
You can find our previous statements on the right, and we have compiled links to useful resources.
Awards through the Emergency Fund are continuing. This is not an open application fund and you will need a PHF grants manager to support your case.
